Chances are, it’s a four letter word that has control over you and is holding you back from creating the body and life of your dreams. And no, it’s not f**k. I’ll take that word any day over the word I’m talking about. I’m about about the other four letter word, F-E-A-R, fear.
Does your fear have so much control over you that you freeze instead of take action? Do you even realize what part fear is playing in your life and holding you back from reaching your goals?
THE FEARS WE TELL OURSELVES
We tell ourselves all kinds of things (that aren’t necessarily true) and keep us from moving forward and creating the life of our dreams. Like the fear of…
- Not being attractive or good enough
- Not knowing enough
- Being broke
The first thing you have to do to create the life of your dreams – whether that be sunning on a beach confidently wearing a swimsuit or making six figures – is to realize what your fear is.
ASK YOURSELF: WHAT IS IT THAT YOU FEAR?
What’s holding you back from getting the body you know you want or taking your career to the next level?
Imagine what it would feel like to have energy to go out and have FUN. To be able to go out and do the things you love. Think of what you could accomplish if that four letter word wasn’t holding you back.
Imagine not being scared of fitting rooms, intimacy or swimsuits.
So ask yourself what you fear. For example, If you actually made the kind of money you wanted to make, your fear may be the fear of “success”, having to work long hours. So instead of working harder, you distract yourself (hey pretty shiny object!) and spend more time on Facebook or other social media outlets.
Perhaps you want to start your own business but the fear of “not knowing enough” is holding you back. So instead of starting your business, you procrastinate and find yourself signing up for certification after certification or reading book after book.
WHEN YOU RECOGNIZE YOUR FEAR, YOU CAN MOVE ON.
Now that you know what your fear is, I want you to write it down on a piece of paper. Now crumple it up and throw it away (or stomp on it and then throw it away). Or put it on your vision board with a big red ‘X’ through it to remind you that YOU are in control, NOT your fear.
Fear is there to help protect us, to guide us. It’s what keeps us from jumping in front of a moving car or fleeing when a bad guy comes after us. It’s NOT meant to control us.
I thank my lucky stars every day that I get to actually help women conquer their fears and create results in their life. With my help, you CAN conquer your fears and create the body and life of your dreams. Let me show you how.
What’s your fear that’s holding you back? Have you acknowledged it and stomped on it yet?
