But in reality, everything feels like it’s spinning out of control. You try to control your cravings but then find yourself obsessing over food. You try to control your appetite but only end up feeling insecure about your body.
All you really want is to feel an inner PEACE.
You have moments where you feel good and you tell yourself, “I got this!” But then you’re back to feeling “not good enough”, painfully shy or maybe even… broken.
Do you want so badly to lose weight but on the other hand, something is telling you that you should love your body just the way it is?
All you want is to be you. Except that you don’t. You want to want to be you. You’ll tell yourself that you’ll be happier when you have the body you did when you were in your twenties (or maybe even your teens).
Sometimes you think you’re waiting to live your life… waiting until you fit in the jeans in the bottom of your drawer before you can start dating… waiting until you get that promotion before you can go on a real vacation… waiting… and waiting… and waiting…
But damn it… you want to feel FEMININE. You want to feel FIERCE.

You read self-help articles and even try to implement some of the points but you just don’t see how things like a massage could possibly be life-changing.
You’ve tried juicing and cleansing but always end up hungry and next thing you know, you’re binging on everything in sight. Of course, you’ve followed meal plans and tried a whole slew of diets but you just can’t seem to stick to anything.
You may have even tried journaling or meditating in an attempt to jump on the “self-love train” but it just hasn’t clicked for you in a way that the media implies it should.
You might even work out consistently but don’t enjoy it or if you do, it’s just not helping.
